Plastic Side Mirror Trim Strip

The plastic side mirror trim strip is an exterior decorative component installed on the side mirror housing. It is not a load-bearing part, but it plays an important role in the overall vehicle appearance.

A bright silver finish enhances the visual sharpness of the vehicle, while body-matched colors provide a more integrated and uniform exterior design.

Our factory has 14 years of experience producing automotive trim components. We operate a 3,000 m² workshop with 35 skilled workers specializing in injection molding.

We use ABS as the base material due to its excellent surface finish and strong suitability for plating and painting processes.

For high-gloss or chrome appearance, ABS parts are chrome-plated. For painted finishes, ABS is used as the base material and coated with automotive-grade paint systems.

Installation methods include snap-in fixation using door trim panel retainers (plastic clips or expanding rivets), or 3M automotive-grade adhesive tape depending on design requirements.

We place strong emphasis on weather resistance and UV stability. As an exterior component, the trim strip is continuously exposed to sunlight, rain, wind, and car wash chemicals. Poor UV resistance may result in fading or peeling within a short period.

Our material selection and surface treatment processes ensure long-term appearance stability and durability.

Impact resistance is also critical, as side mirror components may be subjected to minor accidental contact. Our design ensures the trim strip maintains structural integrity without cracking or deformation.

We have an in-house R&D team to support customized development. You may provide drawings, and we will manufacture according to your specifications.

Sample development typically takes 30 to 90 days. Our factory is certified to IATF 16949, ensuring strict quality control throughout production.

Each product is fully inspected before shipment. We offer free standard samples (shipping cost borne by customer). The minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 1,000 pieces.
