1. Structural Base for the Fuel Filler Door

The fuel filler door housing serves as the structural base around the vehicle's fuel filler opening. The fuel door is mounted onto this component. Since it is exposed to fuel during refueling, the part must have strong resistance to gasoline and oil contamination.

Our factory has extensive experience in manufacturing fuel filler door housings. We operate a 3,000 m² workshop with 35 injection molding workers. We use materials such as modified PP, PP reinforced with 10% glass fiber, and TPV. PP+GF provides higher structural strength, while TPV offers improved flexibility. Both single injection molding and two-shot over-molding processes are available.

2. Resistance to Fuel and Long-Term Durability

The structure includes a hinge mounting seat for the fuel door, retainer stops, and a latch clearance area.

We place strong emphasis on resistance to gasoline and oil stains, as fuel exposure can degrade standard plastics over time. Poor material selection may lead to embrittlement and cracking within a short service period. Our selected materials are designed to maintain stability under long-term fuel exposure.

High strength and impact resistance are also critical, as the fuel door is frequently opened and closed during vehicle use. The housing must maintain structural integrity throughout its service life.

3. Smooth Operation and Reliable Supply

Smooth opening and closing performance with minimal noise is another key requirement.

We support custom development based on customer drawings through our in-house R&D team. Sample development typically takes 90 to 150 days.

Our factory is IATF 16949 certified, and all products are inspected prior to shipment. Free samples are available (shipping cost paid by the customer). The minimum order quantity is 1,000 pieces.
