Door Trim Panel Retainer

The door trim panel retainer is one of the most commonly used plastic fasteners in vehicles. It is widely applied in door panels, interior trim, bumpers, headliners, and wire harness installations.

Our factory has 14 years of experience manufacturing this type of component, with a monthly output of millions of pieces. We operate a 3,000 m² workshop supported by 35 workers specializing in injection molding. Material selection is critical, and we recommend the most suitable option based on your application.

For door panels and interior applications, we typically use PA66, which provides a good balance of strength and heat resistance. For engine bay and exterior applications, PA66+GF30 is preferred due to its higher strength and improved aging resistance.

For components that require frequent removal, such as seat-related parts, POM is recommended because of its excellent wear resistance and flexibility. For liners and headliners, PP offers a cost-effective solution with adequate performance.

Available colors include black, gray, and beige, and we can match specific interior color requirements.

The retainer is designed to fit hole diameters from Ø6–10 mm. Suitable panel thickness ranges from 1.5–3 mm for interior applications and 3–6 mm for exterior use.

The head diameter ranges from 12–20 mm, while the neck diameter is designed to be 0.1–0.3 mm smaller than the hole diameter, ensuring a secure fit while maintaining ease of installation.

The total length ranges from 15–30 mm, with a tolerance of ±0.2 mm.

Each retainer is inspected before shipment to ensure consistent quality. Our IATF 16949 certification demonstrates adherence to strict automotive quality standards.

The minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 1,000 pieces, with a minimum of 300 pieces per color or model. We offer free standard samples; you only need to cover the shipping cost.
