Fuel Tank Outer Cover Hinge

The fuel tank outer cover hinge is the hinge pin used in the fuel filler door assembly. Although small in size, it plays a critical role in ensuring smooth door movement. The fuel door rotates around this pin, and excessive wear may lead to looseness and noise during operation.

Our factory has extensive experience in manufacturing fuel tank outer cover hinge pins. We operate a 3,000 m² workshop with 35 injection molding workers. We use materials such as POM or PA66 reinforced with glass fiber. POM offers excellent self-lubrication and wear resistance, while PA66+GF provides higher mechanical strength.

The hinge pin is available in diameters ranging from 2.5 mm to 8.0 mm, with round or D-shaped configurations. A stop feature and anti-removal slot are included for secure assembly. It is installed separately with the hinge and base components.

We focus strongly on wear resistance and smooth rotational performance. Since the pin operates every time the fuel door is opened or closed, insufficient wear resistance may cause gradual thinning, leading to looseness over time.

Our POM material provides excellent wear resistance, and precision mold design ensures smooth rotation and long-term durability without play or noise.

Resistance to gasoline and oil contamination is required for long-term durability. The product must also withstand temperature extremes without cracking in cold conditions or warping in high heat.

Our factory is IATF 16949 certified, and every product is fully inspected before shipment. Free samples are available (shipping cost paid by the customer). The minimum order quantity is 1,000 pieces, with at least 300 pieces per size. Payment terms are 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment.
