The dashboard vent deflector door is a key internal component of the automotive HVAC system. It controls airflow direction, enabling switching between face, foot, and defrost modes. It is also used in blend doors for hot and cold air regulation.
Although small in size, this component plays a critical role in HVAC performance and directly affects user comfort and system efficiency.
Our factory has 14 years of experience manufacturing this type of component. We operate a 3,000 m² workshop with 35 skilled workers specializing in injection molding production.
We commonly use reinforced PP or PP with 20% glass fiber. The addition of glass fiber significantly improves strength and dimensional stability while reducing deformation under load and temperature changes.
For sealing performance, we use EPDM rubber or foam sealing strips. EPDM offers excellent aging resistance and long service life under high and low temperature conditions.
The main body of the deflector door is produced using a single injection molding process. Sealing components can be integrated through overmolding or secondary assembly depending on design requirements.
We place strong emphasis on sealing integrity and zero air leakage. If sealing is insufficient, airflow may be misdirected-for example, air intended for the face outlet may leak to the footwell, reducing HVAC performance and user comfort.
High-precision molds combined with reliable sealing materials ensure tight closure and consistent airflow control.
Low noise and smooth rotation are essential requirements for HVAC components. The deflector door must operate quietly and smoothly throughout its service life without vibration or sticking.
We have an in-house R&D team to support customized designs. You can provide drawings, and we will manufacture according to your specifications.
Sample development typically takes 30 to 90 days after drawing approval. Our factory is certified to IATF 16949, ensuring strict quality control throughout production.
